How to integrate Truelist with HubSpot
Truelist has a direct integration with HubSpot. This integration allows you to validate email addresses in your HubSpot account. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up the integration.
How the integration works
When installed, Truelist will create a custom contact group called truelist.io fields. In that group, 2 new contact properties will be created:
- Email Validation Result - This field will be updated with the status of the contact’s email address.
- Email Validation sub-state - This field will be updated with the reason for the email address validation result.
These fields will be updated with the validation results when you validate a contact’s email address using Truelist. You can find more information on the validation results in the Truelist verification results documentation.
After the integration is set up, you can validate email addresses from a particular list in HubSpot manually by clicking “Sync now”, or you can set up Truelist to automatically validate your list on a weekly basis.
Step-by-Step Installation
- Head to Integrations. Click “Set up” for the HubSpot integration.
- Click “Authorize with HubSpot”.
- Follow the prompts to authorize Truelist to access your HubSpot account.
- Once authorized, you will be redirected back to Truelist.
Managing the Integration
Syncing
- Sync now - Click this button to manually validate the email addresses in your HubSpot account.
- Status - This will determine how often a list is sycned. If you choose to sync automatically, Truelist will validate your list every week. You can also choose to sync manually by clicking “Sync now”.
- List - This is the list of contacts in your HubSpot account that will be validated by Truelist.
Deleting the integration
If you wish to delete the integration, click the “Delete HubSpot Integration” button. This will remove the integration and stop syncing. It will not delete any data in HubSpot or in Truelist. You can always re-add the integration later if you wish.
